Missing, one star

A friend of mine once told me there's a star for every star. So my question is, where's mine? I'm fed up of going to the weddings of practically everyone I know alone. And worse than going alone, is the 'set up' - he's single, you're single you're bound to get on, right. Well, um, wrong, especially when the guy in question re-enacts battles with toy soldiers for fun (I wish I was joking here).

I think all the good ones really are gay or taken.

It's not that I'm looking for a lot:-

under 6ft (practical reasons, I'm short)
preferably dark hair (but am willing to consider others.....)
beer drinker
loves indie and rock music
likes/tolerates a liking for/has a secret love of cheesy pop
agrees that programming a keyboard is not musical talent and therefore most dance and 80's music is rubbish
reads
has a brain and opinions (not necessarily the same as me)
accepts that my job takes up a lot of time
geeky (about what is up for discussion - science, cars, etc just not sport)
not particularly into sport, or willing to accept that I'm not particularly into it
wants to travel
likes pets
makes me laugh, not cry

and with all good lists, the disclaimer - I will make exceptions for the exceptional.
